Simone was the beloved daughter of Raphael Florial. She came to Jacmel to learn how to be a Seamstress. She married and has 2 children in Jacmel. She travelled to the US in 1996 and visited Vermont where she went to ESL school. She traveled to Florida. She witnessed the birth of her first two grand children, Katia and Steve.
