Rose Marie Powell

Rose passed away on April 23rd at 3:20 PM, surrounded by the love of her family.

 

Rose was strong, steady, and deeply reliable. She was the kind of person who held everything together without ever asking for recognition. Her life was defined by devotion—especially to her children, whom she always placed before herself.

 

She also had a warm sense of humor and a gentle presence that made people feel safe and loved. Her laughter, her strength, and her unwavering care will remain with her family forever.

 

Rose is survived by her children: Matt (35), Aarin (32), Rachel (30), and Laurelei (22). Her love for them was constant and unconditional, and it will continue to guide them in every step of life.

 

In honor of her wishes and her heritage, Rose will be cremated, and her ashes will be returned to her tribal land—resting alongside her parents. This sacred place was important to her, and it is where she will be laid to peace.

 

There will be no traditional service. Instead, her family will gather privately to honor her life, share memories, and celebrate her journey home.

 

Rose’s strength, love, and spirit will continue to live through her children and all who knew her. She will be deeply missed and forever held in their hearts.
