Memorial

Mementos

Murray died peacefully on Saturday, March 5, 2022, nearing his 88th year.

He will be remembered by many as a dedicated teacher for the Ottawa School Board and the community of Missanabie.

Murray was well-loved for his unfailing sense of humour and beautiful singing voice.

A fair and kind man who always did his best.

We will dearly miss him.

A donation made in his name to the Humane Society or any bird sanctuary would honour his love of animals.

Murray was my father-in-law for 33 years. Smart, sly sense of humour, and generous beyond belief. I am eternally grateful for all that he gave and showed me. I will remember him always.

It is often difficult to find the words and words cannot always express the emotions and feelings you have for someone, and although I had not had much opportunity to see Murray in recent years, Murray holds a special place in my heart. Always kind, thoughtful, encouraging and funny, I always looked forward to seeing Murray. I always enjoyed our conversations, often about hockey, the Montreal Canadiens or the Ottawa Senators, as he often had a humorous comment about the teams recent performance. He was a great man who will be missed greatly, but will live on in the fond, cherished memories that I have for him. I am certain that he is looking down on everyone with a smile on his face waiting for the opportunity to throw out one more funny comment. RIP Uncle Murray, Love You!
