I’ve known grandpa Quick for 30 years of my life. He had taught me so much in life; especially in my crucial years when I needed a man’s guidance. I would not be who I am today without all the experiences I’ve had with him. My favorite memory will always be us kids sucking our teeth and him responding,” did you just say s**t”. On behalf of wife and children I thank you Papi for all the knowledge you’d shared with me, all the love you’d shared with me, and all the discipline you had given me. I will continue to pass down your teachings. You’ve done great work in your family. Rest in paradise child of God.

You have been a part of our lives for 37 years, you was married to.my mom 4 years before I had met you. The second father figure i had. You was a joy to be around. With you being in our lives, I gained a sister cheryl and a brother trey. You watched my children grow up to be adults and have children of their own. You are the grandfather and great grandfather they only know. Family is important and you loved your family. You loved when cheryl visited and when we visited. I will miss your phone calls and your laughter. I will cherish my last memory of you on your birthday. I know you are at peace now. Love you always!

We miss you down here. I don’t even have the right words. It’s just been pure sadness every time I think of you. I miss you and I love you.
