Elvis Padayachee

Elvis Padayachee, born on the 29 October 1958 in Durban, South Africa, spent most of his adult life between Australia and his birth land. A seasoned traveller, a nationally recognised award-winning shoe designer, Elvis favourite place in life was somewhere near the ocean, fishing from land, jetty or boat. 

During his marriage to Cindy Padayachee, he became the proud father of his daughter Shantal, and grandfather to Lachlan, Jordan and Charlotte.

His prowess as a shoe designer was well established in Australia, South Africa and even reaching China and India. Elvis valued his God, his family and friends above all else. Food - both receiving and sharing - was his love language. A distinct dresser, cap or hat pearched to one side, a distinct smart casual vibe with a trendy edginess, Elvis was an unassuming presence.

He is survived by his daughter's family: Shantal, Scott, Lachlan, Jordan and Charlotte, his sister Darlene's family, his many cousins and extensive family. Elvis Padayachee without trying glowed a warmth that drew you in, and made you be seen and heard.
