I met Ricardo via his resume in my inbox. He had worked at ESPN prior and, out of curiosity, I called him to chat about his experiences at the sports network. It wasn't like any job interview I had ever had and I couldn't wait to tell the team about him. He gave me instant good vibes and I found quickly we had a lot of common interests in real estate, cars, crypto, business, and more. He was always so humble, which can be a rare character trait in an industry where obtaining flashy headlines for clients is the name of the game. His calm personality, tenacity, and dry wit made him easy to get along with and he was generous with his time when it came to helping the team; no job was too big or small for him. If there is a firm in the great beyond, I hope Ricardo might check out my resume and shoot me a call. RIP RZ.

Ricardo was, above all else, a genuinely kind and generous human being. Someone who made RLM a warmer, more welcoming place simply by being himself. From the very beginning, he made me feel supported and seen, offering patience, encouragement, and understanding in ways that came so naturally to him. His guidance went far beyond the work, he showed through his actions what it truly means to lead with integrity, compassion, and respect for others. Ricardo always took the time to listen and to uplift without judgment or expectation. His quiet presence and steady kindness left a lasting mark on my life and career. He will be deeply missed, but the example he set and the goodness he shared will stay with me always. - Caroline

Ricardo and I had some deep interactions over the years and I will miss those tremendously. He was a good person. It’s been hard to process, but if there is an afterlife I’m certain he will persevere there like he did in the world we inhabit. I speak as his boss for many years: Ricardo was a hardworking and diligent person who had so many skills and so much work ethic. He was deeply affected by those around him while he affected them. And he made people’s lives brighter all the time! I will miss him.

I worked with Ricardo for years, and he was always a pleasure to interact with. I never had the opportunity to meet him in person, but I was his Secret Santa for our holiday party, where I gave him gifts for his dogs. During his lifetime, he had a substantial impact on a lot of people, including myself. My deepest sympathies to his loved ones during this difficult time.
