Biography


Kerry Greenwood, 60, of rural Dexter, Iowa died January 2, 2017 at home.
A graveside service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, June 10, 2017, in the North McDonald Cemetery.

Kerry Dan Greenwood was born March 3, 1956 at Winterset, Iowa to James M. and Elizabeth G. (Kellogg) Greenwood. He graduated from Winterset High School in 1974. His marriage to Charlene Helm Kozak took place in September of 2005.
During his working years, Kerry was a truck driver and admired and collected antique tractors.
He was not one to join organizations but rather enjoyed time spent with his wife and the solitude of their home in the country.
He is survived by his mother, Elizabeth Greenwood of Winterset; three brothers, James ‘Skip’ Greenwood of Winterset, Kris (Linda) Greenwood of Ankeny, Kurt (Lori) Greenwood of Coalville, UT and extended family.

He was preceded in death by his father and his wife, who died August 1, 2016.
