Cater Green died unexpectedly at his home on January 19th, 2013 in Santa Fe, NM at the age of 71.
Cater is survived by his wife, Christine, daughter Lilly Marc and grandchildren Jeremy and Amanda of Santa Fe, NM.

Cater was born on September 30th, 1942 in Santa Fe, NM to John and Mabel Green. He graduated from Mcgill University in 1968. He married Christine, whom he met during his time in Canada. After graduating, Cater became a particle physicist and discovered a new element. Cater loved to read, attend conferences, drink good scotch and play with his family.
