Samuel Ray Wright

Samuel Ray Wright, 58, of Parkersburg West Virginia, passed away on March 12, 2020, after his battle with cancer, under the loving care of Amedisys Hospice and Camden Clark Hospital. He was born on May 7, 1961 to Loula Knox and the late Donald Wright. He enjoyed driving truck and fishing. His favorite place to fish was Catfish Paradise. He is survived by his mother, Loula Knox, step-father James Knox of Parkersburg, daughter Samantha Elder (Brandon) of Parkersburg, brother Milton Wright (Susan) of Trenton, NC, half sister Donetta Knox, and step sister Linda Carder of Parkersburg, WV. Grandkids Cody Reynolds, Brittany Reynolds, Kori Reynolds, and Shannon Wright. Several aunts, nieces, and nephews. As well as his partner Tammy Huffman, his best friend Terry McCartry, and his fur baby "Blackie". He is proceeded in death by his Grandma & Grandpa Wright, Grandmother Birdies Rhodes, his father Donald Wright, Aunt Erma Hochier, brother Jeffery Wright, and his son Brandon Wright. Family would like to thank Dr. Fasick of Camden Clark and Amedisys Hospice, Courtney Boso, Donna Ellyson, whom he greatly admired. They would also like to that Mid-Ohio Valley Cremation Society for all that they have helped with during these times.
