Amanda C. Sanchez

Amanda C. Sanchez, age 90, a resident of Los Alamos, NM, and more recently of Albuquerque, NM, was called by our Lord and Savior on February 25, 2012 from the Albuquerque Heights Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center. She was born November 29, 1921 in Cebolla, NM, to Annie and Esequiel Lucero. Amanda had seven brothers and sisters. She is survived by her daughter; Evelyn Voos and husband Ray Of Rio Rancho NM, sons; Amadeo Sanchez, Jr. and wife Terry of Las Vegas NV, J. Eddie Sanchez of Los Alamos NM, brother; Frank Lucero, six grandchildren, nine great grandchildren, and two great-great grandchildren. Amanda was preceded in death by her parents; her infant daughter; Catherine Daisy, her husband; Amadeo D. Sanchez, Sr., and six brothers and sisters. She will be forever loved and dearly missed. Her spirit will continue to live on in all of us. A Funeral Mass to celebrate her life will be held at 11:00 a.m. March 6th at the Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church, 3600 Canyon Road, Los Alamos, NM. Interment will be a private family memorial in the near future.
