Abraham Samuel Richman, better known as Boomie Richman, was born in Brockton, Massachusetts on April 2, 1921. He was a famous tenor saxophone player, specialising in jazz music, and worked with the great bandleader Tommy Dorsey. He died in Boynton Beach, Florida on March 22, 2016, aged 94.
