In Loving Memory of Lillian (Cookie) Irene Field

Cookie, beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away peacefully in the early hours of Tuesday, September 17, surrounded by her loving family. She was 87 years old.

Born and raised in picturesque Livingston Manor in the Catskills of New York, Cookie’s journey through life was marked by love, adventure, and dedication. She married her soulmate, Robert (Bob), with whom she shared nearly 70 wonderful years of marriage. Together, they embarked on a cross-country adventure in 1960, towing a trailer on their way to Alaska. Enchanted by the beauty and warmth of the Southwest, they instead decided to make Arizona their home.

Cookie was a woman of many talents and passions. She built a successful career as a real estate broker, all while being a devoted housewife and mother. Her nurturing spirit and unwavering support helped shape the lives of her five children: Dr. Lori Kemper and her husband Dave, Rich Field and his wife Nancy, Dan Field Esq. and his wife Kathy Casteel Esq., Greg Field, Mike Field and his wife Jib.

Her legacy extends to her 11 grandchildren: Britney Field, Andrea Farris and her husband Jeremiah, Derek Field, Dr. Nicole Kemper and her husband Matt Ryan, Jordan Field, Carlene Beeman and her husband Josh, Jonathan Kemper, Josh Field, Elly Beeman and her husband Caleb, Alexandra Field, Abigail Field, and 3 great-grandchildren: Eddie Statzer, Lottie Farris, and Ollie Farris, who will forever cherish the memories and lessons she imparted. Cookie’s love, wisdom, and strength will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Cookie is also survived by her beloved dog, Zoe, who was like an adopted daughter and brought her much joy and companionship.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Cookie’s name to Hospice of the Valley as the nurses there were angels to the family.
