Harold Dean Jr. ,97, of Aurora, Ohio, passed away on December 12, 2022, of natural causes. Harold was born on December 7, 1925, to Harold Dean Sr. and Rosemary Smith in Ravenna, Ohio.
After the war, he lived in Ravenna, OH, marrying Edythe Nading and raised six children., Catherine Dean, Janet Dean, Thomas Dean, Douglas Dean, Alan Dean, and Brian Dean.
Harold was predeceased by brother Daniel Miller, sister Catherine Doak, sister Wilma Alexander, wife Edythe Dean, daughter Janet Dean, and son Douglas Dean.
He is survived by daughter, Catherine Dean and sons Thomas Dean, Alan Dean, and Brian Dean.

He enlisted in the United States Navy January 20, 1944, during World War II, and received an Honorable Discharge May 23, 1946. He served abord the USS LST 697 in the Asia- Pacific region.
