Steve

This page is in loving memory of Steve Sheng Lee,李勝和, beloved friend, father, grandfather (阿公) and husband. We lost Steve in the small hours of the morning on April 13, 2021. For those who knew him, they might remember his endless (often shamelessly bad) jokes, or they might know him as a big storyteller, a fearsome opponent at the Sandy Senior Center ping-pong table, or as the guy with endless energy and zest for life, as well as curiosity to meet the world and people around him. Born in 1948 in PuZi, Taiwan, Steve ended up on the other side of the world, living his life as an adventure, going wherever the world would take him. His philosophy worked. He was (mostly) unstoppable. A lover of travel, he managed to survive many fearless street food decisions, despite his wife Rosa's many warnings. Please share your memories with us here, be they inspiring, funny, thought-provoking or anything else. Thanks for being a part of our shared journey.
