********************************

Please join us on Saturday, May 9th, 2026 (Mother's Day Weekend) at the Pavilion at Long Lake Regional Park in New Brighton, MN to celebrate the VIBRANT life of our beautiful Michelle.

Come prepared to share stories and memories of your time with Michelle at a place near and dear to her heart. Being the water baby she's always been, she loved nothing more than gathering as many friends and family as she could down at Long Lake Beach... sometimes multiple times per week.

There will be no dress code for her Celebration. The only thing we ask is that you be as COLORFUL as possible.

With the event being in May, we are hopeful for the best weather conditions possible. Being that this is Minnesota, the weather can be unpredictable however. The Pavilion is a large covered space but still very much open air to the park that surrounds it. Just be mindful of the forecasts leading up to her Celebration.

Please RSVP here as soon as possible so we can plan accordingly.

Also, check back here regularly for updates as planning is in progress.

Spread KINDNESS for MICHELLE... always.

Search "800 Park Dr. New Brighton, MN 55112" in your maps app for the specific location. The event will be at the big pavilion on top of the hill before you reach the beach area. We'll have additional signs beginning at the park entrance to guide you to the right spot.

On Monday, June 9th, 2025, this world lost one of its brightest lights and most beautiful souls. Michelle passed from this place to a better one on that day. Nevertheless, those of us still in this place who love her can't believe she is gone so soon and will miss her endlessly.

She has always had the most warm and welcoming presence. An irresistible personality and infectious laugh easily drew so many close to her. Michelle's unbelievably vast and prolific body of work as a phenomenal photographer will carry her legacy on. In the wake of her passing, the outpouring of messages we've received have expressed how caring, compassionate, and kind Michelle has always been. The last adjective in that statement perhaps captures her essence best. With that being said, the best way we can think to honor her going forward is to ask everyone to "Spread KINDNESS for MICHELLE" as much as you can and wherever possible. In this way, she will remain with us all forever.

Her Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, May 9, 2026 at the Pavilion at Long Lake Regional Park in New Brighton, MN. Details and RSVP are linked below and will continue to be updated.
