Michelle "Mickey" Marie Hurley

On Monday, June 9th, 2025, this world lost one of its brightest lights and most beautiful souls. Michelle passed from this place to a better one on that day. Nevertheless, those of us still in this place who love her can't believe she is gone so soon and will miss her endlessly.

 

She has always had the most warm and welcoming presence. An irresistible personality and infectious laugh easily drew so many close to her. Michelle's unbelievably vast and prolific body of work as a phenomenal photographer will carry her legacy on. In the wake of her passing, the outpouring of messages we've received have expressed how caring, compassionate, and kind Michelle has always been. The last adjective in that statement perhaps captures her essence best. With that being said, the best way we can think to honor her going forward is to ask everyone to "Spread KINDNESS for MICHELLE" as much as you can and wherever possible. In this way, she will remain with us all forever.  

 

Her Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, May 9, 2026 at the Pavilion at Long Lake Regional Park in New Brighton, MN. Details and RSVP are linked below and will continue to be updated.
