Uwe Fischer

Uwe Fischer, a beloved son, brother, and uncle, departed from our lives peacefully on November 30th, 2023 at the age of 58, leaving behind a legacy of love, good humor, and kindness. Born on October 20, 1965, in Furth, Germany, Uwe and his family moved to Florida in 1974. He lived his life in the Ft. Myers area and was a graduate of Riverdale High School in 1984. Uwe's love for his family was at the core of his being. Uwe’s interests included sports, bowling, and supporting his favorite football team-the Dallas Cowboys. Uwe is survived by his mother, Marianne Frautten, father, Guenter Fischer, and stepparents, Dennis Frautten and Judy Fischer. He also leaves behind his sisters, Elke Tanner and Sabine Stiles (Trip) and nieces, Megan and Lindsey Stiles, nephews, Ward Tanner (Natalie) and Nicholas Stiles, grandnieces, Emma and Charlee Tanner, and his beloved aunt, Inge Engel. A memorial service to honor Uwe's life will be held on Wednesday, December 20 at 1 pm with a reception to follow at First Congregational Church of Naples: 6630 Immokalee Rd. Naples, FL. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations to Hope Hospice in Bonita Springs for their great care of Uwe or to Gulf Coast Humane Society in Ft. Myers reflecting Uwe's commitment to supporting animals. Uwe's presence was a comforting constant, and his absence leaves a void that words cannot fully capture. May Uwe rest in eternal peace.
