One of my favorite memories with Travis is when my sister Morgan and I came up to Chicago in 2017 to visit him and Meg. We were out at the bar trying to get a photo together when a stranger walked by and said, “what is this, the land of the giants?!”. We all got a kick out of it and that is a line we’ll be repeating for many years to come, always making us think of Travis when we do.

We have known Travis since he was a baby. Mark and Beth have been lifelong friends and Travis and our daughter were born about a month apart. Over the years whenever we saw Travis he always had a smile on his face. Whether it was at a UD basketball game, eating and drinking at Polly Gee’s, or doing shots at Megan and Kim’s wedding, Travis was always polite, friendly and smiling

Double cousin...met some new people at the celebration and they said "your one of the double cousins"...LOVE IT and very proud to be a double cousin! I keep thinking a lot of what memories to share and honestly I have a hard time putting down all my thoughts in an organized manner. I have a lot of great memories starting from being young kids and wrestling and having food fights in our grandparents' basements during all the family get togethers. Then I think of being teenagers/young adults and playing basketball together in Russia, OH every Christmas and going on golf trips in Texas together. Amazing times! I think when I think about it all, no particular memory/event sticks out more than others. I just look back and I was always happy every time I was around Travis. My Double Cousin!

Our families have had so many special memories throughout the years as our children grew up. Memories that will always be treasured. Travis was always such a sweet , intelligent and quiet young man. But he also had a “quick wit” about him that would make you smile. Travis will continue to live on in this world in our hearts with so many precious memories to reflect back on. Reading through these reflections that have been posted already shows what a caring, smart, charitable man he was and will be continued to be remembered as such . May God give you strength n peace …

We remember when the Buckeye Buddies made a trip to Chicago and visited Pauli G’s. Travis welcomed us with open arms and gave us a tour of the restaurant with such pride and professionalism. You could tell he was very talented and so respected by his coworkers. You will be greatly missed. Rest in Peace Travis, ❤️Burk and Hammy
