When I was in my preteen, early teen years, granny would watch me every Friday night. This one time a friend was sleeping over and we were concocting a plan to sneak out when granny went to sleep 😂 we lived on the first floor so we decided we would jump out the window and climb back through the window when we got back. We needed to do a test run to make sure we could jump out and climb back up through the window with success. My friend breezed through her trial jump and return. I jumped out successfully but then couldn't climb back up 🤣 My friend frantically tried to pull me up with no success. I then realized I was going to have to walk to the front of the building and buzz....what the heck would I say to granny who was going to open the door and see me when she thought I was in my bedroom??!! 😂 when granny opened the apartment door she looked like she saw a ghost. "I thought you were in your room," she hollered! The best I could come up with so quickly was that my friend and I were watching our other friend skateboarding out the window. He had a bad fall and I needed to help him so the quickest way I could get to him was to jump out the window 🤦🏻‍♀️ Her response??? "Is your friend ok??
