Jason Mathew Berry

Jason Mathew Berry died unexpectedly at age 40 on November 6, 2020 in Toronto, Ontario, where he was born and raised. He was a beloved son of Darlene Berry and John Berry, and brother of Kathryn Berry and Julia Berry. From his early passions for soccer, trance music and lifting weights, to later passions for the finer things in life, like good wine, steak and cigars, Jason found joy in so many ways throughout his life. Jason was a kind and caring person who loved deeply and had profound empathy for those around him. Sharp, funny, and quick witted, he loved to crack jokes and make people smile. Jason will be sadly missed by his family and friends and will be lovingly remembered along with his late father John. In lieu of sending flowers, the family requests a donation be made in Jason's memory to the Mental Health and Justice Program at the Fred Victor Centre in Toronto.
