Jacob Adam Weddle

Jacob Adam Weddle, or Jake as his friends and family called him, passed away suddenly on Thursday, August 25th 2022 at the age of 30 in his home outside of Fort Worth, Texas.

Jake was a loving father who cared for his daughter Haven (4) and son Wade (2) deeply. He will be remembered by those that knew him as one who constantly put others above himself and as a man of balance: A sensitive spirit that coupled with strength; A hard worker who would turn on his playful and silly side when the moment called for it.

Jacob had a passion for sports, particularly football, since he was young. He was a star athlete with many achievements and accomplishments including all-state and all-American. His work ethic was admirable in the variety of different roles he took. If there was anything he was meant to be, it was a devoted father who cherished his kids like no other. Jake loved dogs- the bigger the better. His first dog, Bailey, was trained to exemplify "man's best friend" and always stood by his side. He enjoyed going to the lake, playing games, but overall loved kicking back with his family and friends with a beer in his hand. Jacob was many things to many people; he was larger than life and his place in the world was an impressive one.

Jacob will be missed by those who knew him, their love for him will never fade. His memory will endure in stories and in the hearts of these people. Let the passing of this precious young man, adored by many, be a reminder of the power love holds.
