I am really going to miss walking into Wisdom and seeing Hoff at his post. We had some great conversations about United State military, old classic movies and how to work his cell phone:) He was such a nice guy and the bond that I watched him develop with students was amazing to watch. He will truly be missed.

Greg had a way of bringing humor, compassion and wisdom into all his interactions with members of the Wisdom Lane family. Personally, he taught me a great deal about world history, politics, and public service. Greg made a difference in the lives of students and staff every single day with his gentle smile, calm nature and courageous heart. He will be greatly missed! My deepest condolences to his family. Greg was such a kind, giving, and sweet gentleman. I miss his smiling face in the hallways of Wisdom. He volunteered at many of our big Chess tournaments. Greg gave direction to parents and players alike, answering their questions with patience and a smile. I remember one tournament which ran overtime. My chess partner and I stayed to do paperwork. We must have been in the office for about 30 or 40 minutes. When we got out to the parking lot, Greg was sitting in his car waiting for us to leave. He said that it was dark and he wanted to make sure we got to our cars safely! We were so Blessed to have this Gentleman in our lives and will miss him dearly.

Mr Hoff was one of the BEST at Wisdom - the heart and soul; a gentle giant! He will be missed so much. His smile was infectious and his kindness was contagious. We are all better for having crossed his path. I will miss him tremendously! 😢

Thanks to everyone at Wisdom Lane for taking my brother into your "family." He loved you all and loved going to "work" with you! Your comments and prayers are very much appreciated!

I can still hear his big, deep laugh. He was a gentle giant with the kindest soul. He will be deeply missed at Wisdom. Rest easy Hoff
