Keep resting in God's love till we meet to part no more.

Abigail Fehintola Abe, fondly called "Fehinto" by her family or "Tola" by friends, has gone to be with the Lord. You fought long and hard. You were brave even in the face of death. Our dearly beloved wife, mother, sister, aunt, and friend ended her earthly sojourn on June 16th, 2022. Death leaves behind a hole and a heartache that only God can heal. The only brightness we have is that love leaves lasting loving memories that we can carry on with us. Fehinto, your life was truly a blessing to us all. We treasure each moment that we spent with you and miss you beyond measure.

Tola lived an impactful life. She worked professionally in the post office, and as a mortgage broker and property manager till her death. She was known to be hard-working, caring, and always spreading love and kindness to co-workers and friends. She was well trained and received her education at prestigious universities such as the University of Ibadan and Obafemi Awolowo University. She enjoyed helping others, giving, and supporting others and was deeply committed to rehabilitating others. Her philosophy was that there was no one too scarred to make a turnaround for good. She was known to always be willing to never give up on anyone, especially family. She was indeed a great woman who influenced countless lives with her heart of gold.

She loved family. Fehinto was a devoted and loving mother who raised 2 beautiful God-fearing daughters. She was a loving wife for over 27 years. She truly loved God and served dutifully in several capacities such as the prayer, treasury, and hospitality teams. Her favorite meal was yam, with eggs, sprinkled with liver choppings. Her favorite color was purple. She loved spending time with her family. She believed strongly in helping as many people as she could. She always had a kind word, a word of wisdom and goodwill for all who crossed her path. She worked tirelessly and sacrificially to keep the family together, always checking up on others and making sure everyone was doing okay. She indeed had a heart of gold. She loved gospel hymns and worship songs. Her favorite hymn was:

"In Christ alone, my hope is found He is my light, my strength, my song This cornerstone, this solid ground, Firm through the fiercest drought and storm. What heights of love, what depths of peace When fears are stilled when strivings cease! My comforter, my all in all Here in the love of Christ I stand"No guilt in life, no fear in death This is the power of Christ in me From life's first cry to final breath, Jesus commands my destiny. No power of hell, no scheme of man, Can ever pluck me from His hand 'Til He returns or calls me home Here in the power of Christ I'll stand".

We can go on and on reminiscing on how wonderful a soul Fehinto was. Earth truly lost a gem and heaven gained an angel. Jesus indeed commands our destinies and we will continue to stand in the power of Christ till he returns or calls us home. Rest in God's love dearly beloved, till we meet to part no more. We love you so much!!!

Lovely survived by Victor (husband), Simi (daughter), Ore-Ofe (daughter), In-laws, nieces, nephews, family, and friends.

She will be buried on July 13th, 2022 at 12 noon at Peterboro, United Kingdom

Fehintola Savage, the name that always come to my mind whenever I remember you. I was shocked to learn of your demise on the platform of the Fed Govt Col, Odogbolu, FEGO Old Students Association. It is well. I got to know you in FEGO in 1978, when I joined you in form four after failing my WASC exam in another school. I was very much discouraged then but we became friends and you really encouraged me to move on. I've always remembered our friendship though we lost contact almost 4 decades, Hmn! How time flies. I'm glad you did not change in Character & Look but maintained your old good self. Ore, you will always be, now that O ti Fehinti, just like your name, you've retired from your labour on earth & you've crossed the bridge and joined the Triumphant Saints where there is no more pain, sorrow & anguish, where Joy, Love & Peace reign forever, A o pade lese Jesu, Nibiti a ko ni'yara, a o rira wa, A o yo m'ara wa, Jesu ni o se alaga wa. May the Lord comfort your children, husband, the entire family & friends. A ti pa o l'ara da, A ti wo o l'aso Ogo, ni ilu Ogo, Sleep on beloved in the bossom of our God till we meet to part no more at the feet of Jesus Christ. ADIEU! ADIEU!! ADIEU!!! Sis Bisi Opanuga (Nee Alao) .

We were so very sad & shocked to hear of Tola’s passing. We knew Tola through her business sMighty Home. We felt we could work with her to manage our properties & we were not mistaken. We found her to be an absolutely diligent and sound business woman & administrator as well as a wonderful & kind individual. She will be greatly missed and has been taken far too early. God bless her and her family

Iya Simi, so you have gone! It is unbelievable, but we can never query God. May your soul rest in peace. May the Lord comfort your husband, children and siblings. Psalm 27:10 " When my father and mother forsake me, then the Lord will take me up. The Lord will take up your children and be a wife to your darling husband. A mother to the motherless and a wife to the widower. The Lord be with their spirit and grace be with them. Unquestionably You are the Lord! Ka bi e ko si Eledumare, you are the God of heaven and the earth. Ka bi e kan ko ma si Olorunwa. Goodbye my sister, continue to rest in the bosom of the Lord. Iya Simi, you have fought the good fight, you have finished the race, you have kept the faith. Now there is in store for you the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will award to you on that day, and not only to you, but also to all who have longed for his appearing. You will really really be missed. Amen

Lanre Amire For The Amires

My dear sister Fehintola, it's so hard to reconcile that you are no longer here with us. We cherish so many beautiful memories; I really don't know where to start; we miss you so much. Thank you for being you, and for responding to the call of God, to love and care for others, because we received these and many more from you, as a friend and as a sister. Though this is painful, we do not sorrow as people who have no hope. Rest in perfect peace of our Lord. Our prayers and thoughts with Bro Gbenga, Simi, and Oreofe. It is well, in Jesus name.
