Eugene Ware was born in Chester County South Carolina on December 2, 1926. He was the son of the late Isabelle Brown Ware and the late Mannie Ware Sr. Gene, as he was call by his loved ones, worked in construction and was a member of the Local Union 3. He served in the United States Army during the Korean War from 1952 until 1954, and he remembered those times until the end of his life. Gene loved his family and friends and always lit up whatever room he was in. An avid baseball fan, he loved the Mets but would watch any team that was on the television. He was known for his directness and for how good looking he thought he was. Even the Mortician said, "He sure has some good hair." Gene truly lived his life his way. He was married to the late Dorothy Mcclurkin for 65 years. The union produced four children, Denise Ware (deceased) Elaine Ware (deceased) Regina Ware and Stephanie Ware. Three grandchildren, Marc Ware (deceased) Marcus Ware and Kimberly Ware. And one great grandson, Marcus Daniel Ware. Daddy Ware will truly be missed

You will be truly missed, Uncle Gene! I loved your raw/uncut way of speaking, you held no punches.

My sincere condolences to Stephanie, Marcus, Kimberley and the entire Ware Family. My other Daddy! Steph and I would take a walk through the Park, walk to his house our favorite "spot" for money! Stephanie, "y'all always taking my money" and give it to her anyway. But if he gave her $5, he gave me $3! He was funny, just an all around great Man! Rest In Peace Daddy Ware.❤️

Wishing Stephanie, Regina, Marcus, Marcus Jr., Kimberly, all of the Ware family & cousins my condolences & peace during this time. My memories of Mr. Ware is that he was a "Cool Cat"! Terri just said my thoughts... remembering as teenagers that he would give us money & was funny as hell! Always had his spit can handy when he chewed tobacco! I also have fond memories of watching the Ware family play poker... it was like watching a comedy sitcom! Mr. Ware was many times accused of cheating! 😂 It's the happy memories to hold on to. Love, Tanya
