I had the pleasure of being a good friend to David for 12 years. Helped him move place to place and we were "partners in crime", as he would say. He loved playing pool, chess and listening to great music from the 70's which got me into it. He loved westerns. The Rifleman and Gunsmoke to be exact which got me into those too. He really loved his girlfriend Paula. He would do anything for her. Most importantly, he wanted to protect her and keep her safe. David was such a caring man. He was a giver too, as I was to him. I really enjoyed being his friend. The 22-year age difference between us made things more interesting and more fun. He really loved his parents. He even had a room in rememberance of them with their furniture and pictures and all. He took great pride with the hand-carved beautiful furniture that his Father made for him. He talked of the friends that he missed but understood that sometimes people drift, as he may have too. He was such a good friend. The best. Great cook, too! He'd put green chile in almost everything. He loved watching Walker, Texas Ranger. A couple of his favorite songs were "All By Myself" by Eric Carmen and "Bridge Over Troubled Water" by Simon & Garfunkel. Oh, he loved Reba. He even had the chance to see her in concert a couple of times. I will never forget you David and I think about you often. I miss you. Earth has lost a wonderful man who would help anyone and Heaven has gained an amazing angel. Continue to rest in peace, David. Until we meet again.
