David was a valued and respected member of the student affairs leadership team at Boise State. I knew him to be quiet but thoughtful, whip smart and analytical with an incredible work ethic and dedicated to serving students. David was respected by his colleagues and loved by his team. It was a privilege to work with him and his absence will be felt. My condolences - David and his family are in my thoughts.

David was one of the first people outside my department at Boise State that I got to know and work with on a regular basis. He was willing to engage in brainstorming sessions and be a sounding board on a regular basis as we'd talk about marketing and promotional efforts. David would make magic happen with deadlines when (as often would happen) our turn-around time was short...and he would do this with a positive attitude. We often talked about our families and what was going on...I appreciated our friendship and will miss him terribly. That said, I am so glad I had the opportunity to know him and work with him. My condolences to the family. <3

I had the pleasure of working with David the past six years at Boise State. He was smart, thoughtful, kind, and always had a smile on his face. He will be sorely missed at Boise State. My condolences to his family.

I am so thankful to have known David for most of my time at Boise State. He had the most giving heart and brilliant mind. I can’t even keep track of the countless times I faced a challenge in simplifying processes or designing student-centered programs that I didn’t go straight to him for a brainstorm session. So much so that whenever any colleague faced similar challenges I’d tell them to just go to David
