Looking through old pictures and found this of us. We had a fun day exploring San Francisco, taking pictures of all the things. I think of you often; your contagious laugh is burned in my brain. I pray I never forget it. Missing you. ❤️

Father to Son 2am, another sleepless night. Might as well put the coffee on. Rolling in bed with regrets in my head. Too long since you've been gone. Tomorrow I will smile while all the while I'm broken and torn inside. The dreams I had and plans we made roll in and out like the tide. A dad's time is short due to making a way. I never felt quite what you needed. Your smile never faded, a new life created as we grew closer and distance conceded. Realized I was losing, I took aim at choosing to see you and you see me. Building that bike was allowing me to become the dad I wanted to be. Then that warm March night we got the call- a car accident and you were gone. I sat on the bed breathless. Oh God please help me. Still expected to soldier on. The pain still crashes like waves on a beach, sometimes unable to breathe. I know you are in a better place, my faith- it's what I believe. I still take breaks expecting your call then realize you're no longer here. I hope you knew the love I have, the plans to always be near. In your honor with pride I'll press forward. Each day subtle memories appear. Wait for me in heaven son. I promise we'll have that beer.

I remember Chris's handshake; I didn't prepare for such a grip. I hurt for a few hours but was sure to be ready the next time, but I wasn't; it was just as crushing as the first. I am left with the reality of his strength and power, and we will miss Great Men of such power. My sincere sympathy goes out to the family, for it is a loss we will never be able to comprehend truly. It was an early Sunday morning. I met Chris and Dad at the top of Haven Ave to learn to fly my new drone. I knew if I had taken the time to read the instructions, it would take me hours, but within minutes, my drone was flying in the air, and he graciously handed the controls as if it was a delight for him to help me skip the instruction phase. These are menial compared to the years of enjoyment others shared with Chris, but they are my etched moments of his strength kindness in my life. We thank you Lord for loaning such a gift to us all. Let us all be strong in the Lord. --Brother Cliff

Chris was part of our Team at Multivista. I read so many similar memories here of Chris that resonate with me and reaffirm what I already felt about him. Chris was ultimately a kind soul and always treated people with kindness. That kindness is something we can all strive for but was innate and at the core of who Chris was. I always felt his unshakable coolness. I tend to worry about a lot of things in life and work but I got the feeling with Chris that everything was going to be all right. That coolness was infectious and could help settle all those around him. Chris was also cool in the sense that he was a cool cat with his own style that was all Chris. We miss Chris very much and hope all those that have loved and known him continue to carry the fond memories of him that I do.
