Randy, today we said goodbye to the body you left behind. You looked so peaceful, finally free from the pain and ailments. You maintained your fighting spirit along side your sense of humour right to the end. I will cherish our talks, marvel at your ability to make all who met you like you, and revel in all the funny moments you were at the center of. You will always be loved.

I sit here Dad and watch the trees swaying in the warm breeze and think about how much you loved trees, nature, the birds, your family, grandchildren and daughters. I was honored and blessed to call you Daddy! You taught me so much and showed me so much love, care, protection and compassion. My heart is heavy with sadness but I know you are watching over me. You have been reunited with Mom, Nana and Grandma. For that I am thankful. As I continue thru my days I know you will always be there, I know I can talk to you and you will guide me from heaven. Daddy you are missed greatly and loved oh so much. Xo

Randy was an amazing brother. Ten years older than myself, I always felt him near to take care of me. I have so many memories. Our early years were farm days. I remember him building haystack forts and attempting to jump on the back of a pig from the fence around the sky. I don't think he succeeded! During our Penticton years he came home one day with a new album, Rubber Soul by The Beatles. It was unlike anything I'd heard before. He always had an ear for special music. Another one of his favorites was Bob Dylan. Later, when we lived in an apartment with a pool, he would bask in the sun with his body slathered with baby oil mixed with iodine. Those were strange days! During this time he also owned a lime green Super Bee (that's a car!) and once let me drive it. He was always so kind and generous. I miss him so much but am grateful.for the memories I have of seven decades together. Rest in peace brother. Love always, Rhonda

Randy, I first met you in 1979, so many memories of “family dinners” as that is how we considered my family, yours as well as Lesley’s. As I told Lacey one of my favourites was you holding Lacey’s hand, carrying Kelsey with a baby bottle in your back pocket going off on another grand excursion. You were such a great Dad to your daughters. You will be greatly missed here but welcomed by many in heaven.

Randy was my Father in Law. He was always kind and generous toward me, and it was always great to shoot the breeze about classic rock music and cars. He was a very giving Man and treated my Daughters like they were his own Grandchildren. Your work is done here now Randy, rest in peace until we meet again.

Rest peacefully papa. You were a funny man with a great sense of humor, always cracking jokes even up until your last day with us and you sure loved your bubblegum. Thank you for the laughs that made a serious and difficult situation more tolerable. I'm glad you're free of pain now and at peace. You'll be missed by many.
