Memorial

Nick was a passionate young man who cared deeply for his friends and family. He had fierce love for human beings and animals alike, beig survived by his furry son Riley, the black and white border collie. His sense of humor was sharp and he never turned down a chance to get into a lively debate, whether it be about politics or anything else he felt spirited toward. Nick was an NAU graduate and sharp salesman, while also studying every week toward his athletic trainer's liscence. Although eloquent, Nick would constantly make his friends break out in full-on belly laughter at the antics he would pull in restaurants and public places; he was always pulling the most goofy pranks. Nick was the most incredible son, brother and friend to those he was surrounded by. He may be gone, but he will never be forgotten and he lives on in our memories.

Nick. One of the most enticing, energetic and zealous people I've ever met. Belly laughs were abundant with this one! One time in high school, we all went to Easley's Costume Shop slightly before Halloween. Of course, Nick tries on the most expensive Batman mask. He's imitating Batman, of course. A disgruntled employee approaches and sternly asks him to take off the Batman mask. Nick says ‘no' in Batman voice. Said disgruntled employee becomes irate and asks Nick, "How old are you??" His response was priceless and sums up Nick to a T. He answers, *in Bat voice* "In Bat years, I'm 27!" Rewriting this story I realize it's not that funny on paper. But hearing Nick talk in BAT VOICE to an employee at Easley's was one of the funniest moments of my high school career. Nick had a bag of fucks and gave away none. He had no fucks to give! What a great human, being able to spend time with him was like going to a show that was sold out for months. Just an absolute treat and a blessing. Love you Nicky
