Marie Rachelle Sainclair

Marie R Sainclair was born on September 21, 1936 in Jeremie, Haiti. She was the sixth child of seven children. She grew up surrounded by trees, rivers and chickens in her mother’s compound. Sainclair loved to cook, make candles and was a talented seamstress. Sainclair moved to the United States in the 80-90s. There, she landed a small job at Burger King. Afterward, she made a living as a home health aid. Sainclair took care of many people throughout her life... Later on, she moved to New York City. Living with her two granddaughters, her son and her daughter-in-law, Sainclair took many walks, loved to shop and visit parks in the area. She was the last of her siblings to go. She will be missed by so many who loved her, and Sainclair will live with all of us through memory and love.
