Berlinda was always a very hard-working woman, when her children were young, she would can many fruits and vegetables and cook delicious meals for them, always making sure they were cared for and loved. Maria had a green thumb, enjoyed being a rock hound, crocheting rag rugs and sharing them with family and friends. Berlinda worked as a housekeeper and later in life as a cook in many restaurants making the most scrumptious meals. Berlinda enjoyed getting dressed in nice clothing, sporting lovely hats and nice jewelry, she was beautiful. For entertainment, she enjoyed eating out and an occasional trip to the casino. Maria loved each of her children as individuals and special to her in their own way. Berlinda was a great story teller relaying stories of our ancestors, some were quite funny and candid.

I am so sorry to hear of Belinda's passing, my deepest condolences to the family. Berlinda was a beautiful lady inside and out. Berlinda was a classy woman that always looked perfect- not a hair out of place and always wore her beautiful bracelets and amazing hats. I will remember her smile and her laugh. I have many fond memories of her when she worked with us at the Monte Carlo- she was our "Cookie" - that place would not have existed without her skill in cooking- the greatest homemade soups and her potato salad was the best. She could grill the perfect steak or boil the nicest crab legs in town. We all loved her. Until we meet again on the other side --Berlinda Rest In Peace in the arms of our Lord.
