I worked with Julie when she was a professor in the English Department at Elon. She was so kind, compassionate, thoughtful, and considerate. Since I also taught in the English Dept., I got to see her interact with students and could tell she deeply cared about them and was always there to support them. I'm so very sorry for your loss. Julie was a very special person and teacher that I was honored to know.

I am so sorry to hear about everyones loss. I know this is a hard time for all of us. She was my English Professor in college and i noticed she wasn't coming to class and now i understand why. She was a great teacher and helped her students out when ever we needed help. She always had a smile on her face even though we had masks on you could still see it. It's so sad how one person could be there face to face with you and then end up not being able to see them again. She was one of the best English teachers I could ever have. Again I am so sorry for your loss and you need anything I am always here.
