October 15th, 1953 - February 12th, 2025
John James Peplin born 10/15/1953, passed away after a short but hard-fought battle with cancer on 02/12/2025. A vivacious and lively soul, he brought color to life with his finishing work, gardening, and music.
He was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 15 years Margaret “Peggy” Peplin (Brunyate), and his parents, Gordon “Bud” Peplin and Bernice “Bunny” Peplin (Sowald). He is survived by his loving ex-wife and close friend Janet Peplin and children Jason John Peplin, Joseph James Peplin, and Jessica Lynne Sullivan (Alex). John is also survived by his 4 siblings: Pamela Richardson (Dave), Candice Schawb (Chip), Scott Peplin (Donna), and Todd Peplin (Candy), along with several nieces and nephews.
No formal services will be held, but a vibrant celebration of life will be held for close friends and family at a later time. Donations in memory of John can be made to Cawley Hospice.
John should be remembered for his love of living life to the fullest. “Don’t sweat the small stuff - and it’s all small stuff”.“
