John Patrick Beh was 48 years old and lived in Poulsbo, Washington at his time of death. He was born on March 18th, 1972 in Rochester New York to Milan and Martha Beh. He grew up in Williamson, New York, and joined the Navy at 18 years old, serving for four years. His service took him all over the world, but he eventually settled in Washington state, where he married and had four daughters. He went on to work as a CNC machinist, developing a unique skillset over the years. He endeavoured to learn all he could about his trade and related subjects, with unceasing curiosity in math, science, and computing. He took great pride in his work, and became well known for his reliability and resourceful intellect. He started his final job at Nesco N&L Line in Poulsbo in 2018. Over the next two years, he developed close personal friendships with his coworkers and the company manager. He is survived by his mother Martha Beh, his father Milan Beh, his sisters Jenna Danielle and Jody Beh, and his four daughters, Caitlin Beh, Shannon Beh, Allison Beh, and Kelly Beh.

Ah Bey Boy, John was one of my best friends growing up on New Rd. We spent countless hours goofing around whether it was at the pharmacy (Beh got me the job), working at the Verbridge farm, playing paintball, wrestling, or just discussing the military and debating which one of us loved his country more. To this day when I hear paint it black, watch The Punisher or walk into a pharmacy I instantly think of him. John and I shared a lot of teen milestones together. Like my first “solo drive” to Orbakers to see the girls with John taking on the self appointed role of Drivers Ed instructor

My memories seem to escape me sometimes, all those years ago, but I do have a bittersweet one of John that I will never forget. Him dancing with me and a group of friends at a high school dance to the B52's. We were laughing and hugging as friends do. I drove him to the Jorolomons (where he was staying at the time) and we had a long conversation in the car. We wondered why we never spent time together like that... just laughing and listening to music...getting to know who we really were. I remember hoping we had more time over the summer, but he was going away to the navy right after graduation and was nervous about it and leaving home to be so far away into the unknown. He was so brave and so young. We all were. I always wished we had more time. I still do. Will miss you John. I will never forget that precious moment.

John Beh was my son, he was a wonderful son who never put a grey hair on my head, He graduated national honor society, was a varsity wrestler and served honorably in the us navy, In many ways he was the opposite of me, he was much more the actor/performer and achedemic, i remember trying to teach him how to run the tractors when we had the farm and while he was accommodating i could tell it just wasn’t his cup of tea. He would rather be in the house solving a math problem. I came to accept this and respected it. He went on to become a highly skilled cnc machinist and programmer and his math skills served him very well in that roll. After his wife passed he gathered up his girls and made a life for them. This was not easy and i have admired his commitment to those girls to see them to adulthood. John loved to camp and fish and this proved to be common ground for us. I tried as often as i could to bring him with me on the trips that i took with my friends. On one of those trips we went to the Adirondacks, my friends loved him. We fished the Carry Falls Resevoir and frequented local bars and restaurants,, the guys in the fishing group played blue grass music and John loved it. I remember walking into the Cranberry Lake Inn and John was on leave from the Navy. He walked up to the bar next to me, lit a Marlboro and ordered a Bud and i remember thinking as I looked over at him that my little boy had sailed around the world and was all grown up. He grew up to be a wonderful human being, a wonderful father and i will be forever proud of him for all that he was.

John and I were in Boy Scouts, soccer, and worked together at Verbridge Farms. As I read the other comments, I kinda laugh because John was intense at everything he did. I haven’t seen him in 30 years, and that’s what I remember most. He went into the Navy and kinda spurred my I interest . I went into the Navy Nuclear Program a year after John, but we never crossed paths. He was a good Egg! My condolences to the family. Fair winds and following seas sailor.

What can I say about John. Well for starters he was one of the most intelligent people I have ever known, not only very smart, but had a great sense of humor, and on top of that one of the strongest guys I had the experience of grappling with everyday in the wrestling room. I had lost touch with John over the years as we all seem to do, and we All should remember to love like it is your last day. We had many good times growing up in the small town of Williamson, many memories for sure. I am grateful that I have had the opportunity to know John through the years growing up, and am grateful for his sister. My prayers to his children, family, loved ones, and to all that had the chance to know John. May you have peace with the Lord.
