What a beautiful photograph and tribute to your mother! Sorry this is late, but I just found out. I have never forgotten Mrs. Valencia's kindness, patience and thoughtfulness when Gloria and I were growing up and I often would think of her with fondness through the years. Please know that my thoughts and prayers are with all of you at this difficult time and may your many memories provide comfort.

Mr. and Mrs. Valencia will always be remembered for their goodness and their great ethics. I will always treasure knowing them and their wonderful family. Mrs. Valencia truly was an earth angel and shared her love by living such a gracious life. God Blessed us with Mrs. Valencia. My regards to this lovely family. I feel blessed to have known her and will keep her in my heart. She was one of the first to visit my family when my mother passed away over 30 years ago. I still remember her knocking on the door and bring in a large pan of posole and chile and money for masses for my mom. What a legacy and memory she has left.
