Ferdi, as he was known by many, was our joyful, smiling, gentle giant. He was truly a people-person, always eager to happy to help others. Given the opportunity, he would talk to any and everyone. His joviality was infectious! He was always quick to share a joke or a funny anecdote to lighten the mood and bring happiness to those around him.
