Edith Woods

Edith Adessa Woods born March 9, 1968 made her heavenly transition on March 29, 2022 at her home in New York. She is preceded in death by her father Willie Woods, her brothers Willie Woods and Larry,her nephew Quarmae Martin and her grandson Isaiah Woods. She is survived by her lifetime partner Anthony Fitzgerald, two daughters Shantiequa Woods and Antiequa Harper(Dequan), three grandchildren Emir Harper, Naziar Suarez, and Zanair Harper, her brothers and sisters Charlisa Martin (Aysa), Wayne Martin (Vashti), Marron Woods, Joe Woods, Daniel Martin, Tiffany Mcgraw (Chris),  Shanisha Little and Lakeesha Williams. She had a host of nieces and nephews. Edith had a love for family, music, and lifetime movies. On many occasions she could be seen nodding her head throughout the night to her old school tunes. She enjoyed fighting and playing with her grandchildren and Antiequa on a daily basis. She loved to laugh and talk junk. There was never a dull moment in her presence. She is our "Forever Girl" gone too soon in our timing, however, perfect in God's timing. She will be dearly missed and loved by those whom lives she touched.
