Update on on Eddie's final farewell celebration and burial with some adjustments. On Sunday 4TH October we shall conduct a funeral wake celebration service at 6-7 pm (CAT) at 7 St Brelades Ballantyne Park with Eddie's body lying in state in their home. Thereafter there shall be a night vigil. On the next day Monday 5th October we will conduct a pre-burial celebration and farewell church service at the United Methodist Church on Enterprise Road from 09hrs00-11hrs00. Thereafter we shall proceed to Glen Forest to lay Eddie to rest at 12hrs30. All celebration services shall be live-streamed via ZOOM.

Tinowimba Katsumbe

I knew Dr Chikumba as a strong and supportive pillar in the Christian Medical Fellowship of Zimbabwe body. His level of engaging the student body within the organisation was astounding. A fountain of wisdom he was. Surely Death has robbed us of a gem, but to a better place he has gone. May he rest in peace.

I'm deeply gutted to hear of Dr Chikumba's passing. What a humble, God fearing man he was. He was my Doctor for my children's delivery. Very prayerful man- prayed with me at every appointment and before surgery and on visiting in the wards. Go well man of God, you lived well and have indeed left a legacy. Thank you for all you did. Go well!
