Daniel Rios

Daniel Noe Rios Jan 2. 1961 – Aug 26. 2023 Daniel was born to his parents, Noe B. Rios and Teresa R. Rios on January 2, 1961 in Salinas, Ca. Daniel passed away in Merced unexpectedly on August 26, 2023, he lived in and around Merced and Alameda Counties for fifty-seven years. He is preceded in death by his grandfather Lucio H. Rocha; his two grandmothers, Teresa S. Rocha and Rita B. Rios; his father Noe B. Rios, stepfather Fransisco B. Serrano and brother David E. Rios. He is survived by his mother Teresa R. Serrano, brothers Gilbert R. Rios, Arturo R. Rios, Johnny Ray Torres, Margret Y. Torres; his children David N. Brown, Fabian D. Rios, Dani-Marie MN. Rios, Sarah M. Madrid and Savannah T. Rios; three grandchildren Riya D. Rios, Rohan D. Rios, and Elijah N. Madrid and a multitude of cousins, nieces and nephews. Daniel shared his life with two beautiful families. He was a handyman mechanic who worked for family and friends. He worked with YardMasters, McDonalds and was a long time gardener’s assistant with Arturo T. Ruiz where he enjoyed and loved gardening. Daniel was an avid 49ers Fan, loved football, boxing, baseball, Oldies music, Blues and Spanish music. One of his favorite things to do was tinkering with small machines where he “always had extra parts leftover.” He deeply loved his family and close friends. “We will miss you Uncle D”
