Memorial

Catherine Calvert Strom, 58, of Black Lake passed away on July 25, 2013. She is preceded in death by her parents, Ross and Daisy Calavert and sister, Connie. She is survived by her husband, Stephen Strom, children, Caelin, Ian and Alyson Strom, sister, Bonnie, brothers, Tommy and Donnie and many other relatives and friends. She was loved and cherished by her family and friends. She will always be remembered as the super mom who accomplished so much in life and gave up so much for her family. We will always love you mommy, you were the best mom we could ask for.

Lin Browning

Cathy was my best friend. I am thankful that I had the opportunity to talk with her on her last day and tell her that I loved her. I am still at a loss, unsure of how to face life without her loving support. This tiny little lady had one of the biggest hearts I've encountered. She was sharp as a tack and honest to the core. She gave her all, all the time, in all she did. Her love for her family gave her true meaning in her life. I will always be thankful that she came into mine and will miss her dearly. Love you my friend.
