Obituary (by Michelle Paulson) On Thursday, February 24, 2022, David Mark Paulson, aged 70, passed away due to cancer. He was born on August 26, 1951 in Grand Forks, North Dakota and grew up in Eugene, Oregon to Robert and Rae Paulson, as the first of three sons. He was an accomplished and highly educated man, having gone to Eugene High School before becoming an undergraduate at Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri. After earning a doctorate in Asian Cultural Studies at Stanford University, David then completed post-doctorate work at Harvard University. He then transitioned into the IT field, becoming a business architect and IT consultant. He also successfully ran a bed-and-breakfast in Brooklyn, New York before moving to Astoria, Queens. He moved to Denver, Colorado in May 2021. His retirement from Bristol Myers Squibb was during December, 2021. He is survived by his two younger brothers, Daniel and John Paulson, as well as his four children, Eric, Mark, Michelle, and Caroline Paulson. Additionally, there are many other family members and friends who still hold him dear to their hearts. David Paulson was predeceased by his mother in 2013 and his father in 2017. May his soul rest in peace from now on.
