Joshua Cameron Lightle
January 5th, 1988 - August 28th, 2021
January 5th, 1988 - August 28th, 2021
Joshua Cameron Lightle of Chandler, AZ passed away Saturday August 28th 2021 after bravely and fiercely fighting brain cancer diagnosed May, 2021. Josh was born on January 5, 1988 in Scottsdale, AZ. First and foremost, above everything else in life, Josh LOVED his family! His many passions in life included spending time with family and friends, especially his girlfriend Alma; weight lifting and WWE; basketball (Go Suns and Bulls!); and precious Jojo, Josh's kitty. He participated in Special Olympics (basketball, weight lifting, and bowling) and the You Look Marvelous Fashion Show, making friends everywhere he went. Josh's motto in life could be summed up in the Bob Marley song, Three Little Birds(Every Little Thing's Gonna Be Alright). To know Josh was to love Josh. His smile could light up a room and his laughter would fill it. He brought sunshine and positivity to the lives of those around him and he will be sorely missed by all who knew and loved him. Josh was preceded in death by maternal grandfather Donald Corbin and sister Debbie Unruh. Josh will be forever loved and remembered by his mother Dawn (Doug) Rensch; father Cameron (Sarah) Lightle; siblings Cheri Greg) Ellis and family, Jacob Lightle, Tomas Lombo, Cathy (Johnny) Unruh, Elizabeth (Kurt) Thompson, Sierra, Noel, Lee (Katie), and Cassi (deceased); step mother Jane Lightle; daughter Evangeline Jenyce Lightle; Grandparents Irene Corbin, LeAnn Corbin, Jack and Connie Lightle, and Wanda Vaughn; great-aunt and uncle Pat and Ernie Miller; honorary family members including fiancé Alma Pereyra and family, cousin Sarah Rensch, Malcolm King, Jordan Rhode, Jacob (Stephanie) Rios, Brother J.D. Wyzard, and Isaac Garcia. A memorial service will be held on Saturday September 4th, 2021 at Gospel Assembly church at 13244 N. 21st Pl., Phoenix, A 85022, with the doors opening at 9:30 a.m. and service at 10a.m. Please join us for food and fellowship after the service. Donations can be made in Josh's name to Hatch Haven (480) 620-0076 and/or Special Olympics.
