I am just learning of Jenette's passing and my heart is broken. I met Jenette in the 80s when working together at a Phoenix law firm. She was always so strong and driven, an advocate for any just cause. I've always thought the world of her and was extremely sad we lost our connection. I imagine her now fighting on the side of everything that is good and standing vigilantly beside her beloved daughters watching them succeed in life. You are so very loved Jenette. RIP

Jenette was a gifted, kind and generous person that my husband and I were fortunate enough to know for too short a time. Jenette and I met at a demonstration against gun violence in schools. We will honor her by continuing to work on issues that were important to her. To her family, we hope that the memories you shared will bring you comfort and joy. We miss you, Jenette.

Your mom was one of a kind. Every time I think of her I am reminded of her kindness, love, compassion, nurturing and passion for fighting for what she believed in. She had a great personality. I remember her making me feel at home and cared for me when I went to spend Easter with you guys because I couldn’t come home. She welcomed me with open arms. I remember her getting me a neck brace when I told her I got in a car accident and I had not told my parents. I remember her sending us so many cute care packages in college and decorations for our apt. Even after college, with every Vegas visit and wedding, your mom was the cool mom giving out the shots. I will always remember her for all the love she shared with everyone she met, including my family. We miss you Jenette!

I only knew Jenette and Steve in high school. Even then they were both great people. I was very happy to find out through Facebook that they had married. It was with sadness that I heard of her death. I imagine after more than a year there is still much sadness, because Jenette was loved so much.

Such an authentic person. I enjoyed and learned from her each time I met her during the resistance era.
