I just heard about dear Ray. What an amazing soul he was! About 8 years ago Dee and Ray hosted a Friday happy hour for our neighborhood and Ray got his vintage Jeep out abs took everyone on rides. The kids (big and little) loved it. As did I! I will miss Ray and his warmth and. Generous spirit! 💜✨🙏🏻

Ray has been a friend to me from the first time I met both of you. February, 1974. My favorite memories are the dinners where we celebrated everything from yearly birthdays starting in my twenties, to moving away in 2012 when we retired. the LIFE celebrations of weddings, births, GRADUATIONS and holidays, You've done life well. Now into eternity with your creator! i will miss you, but never forget you.

Ray and I traveled and visited BSF classes for over 10 years. We had an amazing time of fellowship together. I will never forget his warm smile and his dedication to the Lord Jesus and as well as our close friendship. Tom Recine

So sorry to hear of Ray's passing. I have many fond memories of working with him on the Board at the Golden Gate Railroad Museum on various projects and later when DRB did all of my marketing materials and collateral for Rail Journeys West and our private railroad cars. His enthusiasm, gentle and calmness, professionalism all combined with his passion for history and railroading were so very much appreciated. My thoughts and prayers are with you Dee and all the family in this time of loss. With sincere sympathy, Roy Wullich, Quinton, VA.

I had known Ray for just 18 months but in this short time he became instrumental in my life. Ray became a friend, a mentor and one of my go to men for GODLY counsel. He was always available, caring, kind and gentle for which I am very grateful. What I will remember most about Ray is how much he loved his family and JESUS. I can only imagine the joy he has being in the presence of the LORD. Kim Peterson
