It is with heavy hearts as we reach out to the family and friends of our dear Tim. We were disheartened to hear that he had passed, however, we know he is now with our Lord in Heaven. Tim will surely be missed. I met him through his daughter, Ursula. At that time we were working together. I asked if she knew of any one that was a seamstress. I was introduced to her Mom Liz, Everyone knows, "Just Alterations" There at the shop is where I also would see and visit with Tim. He was always doing something to help Liz. After a few conversations and visits, I would like to think we became good friends. The more we visited the more we had in common, we came to find out that I knew a lot of his family and friends. I was so impressed with Tim, I came to know him as a very down to earth and meek individual, a great conversationist! He was a very quiet, but he carried a big stick! Tim had a great sense of humor. I never heard him say an unkind word towards anyone. I was always kept informed about Tim's situation and health, not only by Ursula and by this young man who came into Ursula's life, Gilbert Varela, who I have always considered as a son. Our sincere condolences and prayers go out to the family. May the family find peace and solace during these difficult times. Tim Benavidez, my friend, may you rest in peace! God Bless the family. As long as we live, they too will live; for they are now are apart of us; as we remember them.
