Tiki Garnett

orn, raised and educated in Philadelphia, Tiki excelled in school and attended many prestigious schools in Philadelphia. Following high school, she attended dental school, and received her CNA Nursing Certificate and worked as an independent home caregiver. She was loved by everyone that encountered her beautiful spirit. Tiki loved and cared for all animals, was a supporter of many animal organizations and causes. In her leisure she enjoyed spending time with her family, traveling and getting fresh seafood with friends and family. She was predeceased by her husband, Lucas Thomas who died in 2006; and her father, Robert Hughes. Tiki is survived by her mother, Mary Jane Garnett; her siblings, Tony Fred Garnett, D'Angelo Quinton Garnett and De'Shantell Sherry Garnett; her niece, Tunisia Garnett Bettis; great-niece, Ashanti Bettis and great-nephew, Elijah Bettis; and her beloved cat, Coral who will miss her dearly. All Services will be private at the convenience of the family.
