My beloved mother, My consoler, The one who settles my troubled waters, My Confidant, My cheerleader, Asamma m, your presence was a sanctuary of love and acceptance. You nurtured us with your gentle touch and embraced me in times of sorrow. No matter the circumstances, you were a pillar of strength, providing solace and encouragement at all times.Your unwavering belief in us pushed me to reach for the stars, and your love became the foundation upon which I built my home. It is very difficult for me to say good night to you my Ezennem di ugwu. My heart shatters at the thought of it. Your call woke me up in the early hours on Sunday and we talked extensively. Two days after, Mama Adaeze called me about your demise . As each day unfolds, the reality that you are no more dawns on me. Life without you is really empty. Your death has really taken me to another phase of life. It is well. Live on my pretty, hardworking and ever caring Mum. See you on resurrection day. Nnem n’enye m obi anwuli. Jee nke oma. It took me a few days to come to grips with the fact that Grandma is no longer here with us.The last time you called me, you heard your ikorobia (Ebubechukwu) as you named him, crying hence you asked me what the issue was,I told you I was about bathing him and you said I should do that right away that we did talk some other time. I never knew that was the last time I will hear from you. You would have told me that was goodbye grandma You couldn’t even wait to see his pictures @6months Oh death why!! Thank you Mama for begin thoughtful and for your directions always. I mentioned to you that Uzochukwu your great grand child likes vomiting his food and you said I shouldn’t worry that anyone he vomits isn’t good for his stomach and we laughed over it Oh grandma who will give me all these advice again? Who will call Ebubechukwu ikrorobiam? I know we had lost a treasure in the family as I learned you were gone and it is impossible to overstate the influence you have had on everyone of your kids, grandkids and all that knows you. Mama you are very loved and will be deeply missed. Your good deeds will always be remembered. Your legacy lives on! Because you conceived and raised soldiers. My mum your first daughter cannot finish a story without mentioning Mama Anyiii.. A woman that resolves conflicts on her knees.your life has been filled with amazing achievements and the world cannot dispute what a strong lady you are but we take solitude in the Lord knowing that you are in a better place. Adieu Mama Eziowelle till we meet to part no more. Adieu grandma

A TRIBUTE TO MY DEAREST GRAND MOTHER. Mama, it's so sad to write a tribute to you. indeed blood is thicker than water, on that faithful day MAY 9th,2023 which you passed on to glory, while at work I was feeling so restless to the point everyone, was asking me if I am okay and It wasn't as if I was thinking. Something kept telling me to power my phone but i felt reluctant about it not until when I got home at night, immediately I plugged my phone to power it, after which I switched it on. Then I got a call from my mum(your daughter) and she scolded me for switching off my phone. Then she asked me if my siblings called me and I answered her NO then I asked my mum what Happened? She broke the news to me. Saying that my dearest grandmother has left us, Then instantly I said BLOOD IS THICKER THAN WATER. All the times we stayed together both at NANKA and Lagos came back to my memory. Hmmmmmmm death..... Mama, I and my siblings will miss you so much. I’ll make an effort not to cry since I know you’re at peace in paradise. Who are we to question God, Just your affection, thoughtful actions, smile, gentle love and your prayer life style will I miss.. On behalf of myself and siblings. I say Rest in peace mama till we meet to part no more. Aduie mama Eziowelle Aduie great woman Aduie prayer warrior. Ifeoma Odoemelam Obiezeonu Grand daughter

TRIBUTE TO MY BIG AUNTY AND SISTERWith deep sense of loss and utter disbelief that I recieved the unpleasant news of the passage of my big aunty and sister to eternal life on 9th of May, 2023. Aunty, I know you have been sick but I am hoping and praying for God’s intervention. Now you are gone and tears cannot bring you back.Death you have cut deep into the entire Umeadi’s and Ugochukwu’s family and leaving everyone in a state of confusion. We have lost a strong pillar of the family, it was great blessing, honour and pride to have you as my aunty and sister. You were wonderful, accommodating, caring, peaceful, selfless giver and jolly fellow. You appreciate people even in the mist of pains. Because of all these attributes the whole members of Umeadi’s and Ugochukwu family and beyond benefited so much from you. However we take solace in the fact that you are now resting in the bosom our Father in faith Abraham because you have suffered your Purgatory here on earth. You lived a fulfilled life and God took you away from this wicked world to beyond where there is neither pains, sufferings nor illness.Sleep on Asama M, Sleep on Mama .T, Sleep on Ezinne Di Ugwu.We thank God for keeping you for us all these years and look forward to meeting you again when the trumpet shall sound and the dead shall be raised incorruptible. (1 Cor. 15) At that time our relationship shall no longer be sisters, Mother and aunty relationship. We shall all meet as children of God and to part no more. Good night my dear.Adieu Adieu Asama MMama .TEzinne Di UgwuKa chi foo.On behalf of Mr. & Mrs. Frank Okonkwo Ogbujiagba of Egbengwu Nimo and Umu Joseph .M. This is a tribute that is difficult for me to write because I do not know where and how to begin talking about my one-in-a-million grandma You taught me hard work and being resilient I still remember back then in onitsha when you will visit us with lot of palm oil , the best oha leaves , and ogili and you will still leave for work at onitsha textile mill (-GCM)that’s same day … You just came to make sure your grandkids and your daughter had food to eat before you go to work …. Grandma is a hard worker and also a very prayerful woman you won’t see her without her rosaries .. She instilled strength by the life she lived. I will miss you, grandmother, but your spirit and strength live on in each of us and on all the lives you touched with the love, strength, wisdom, and beauty of your soul. You truly were a one-in-a-million grandma. Rest in peace, mama ! We will never forget you, and we will love you forever. From Uchenna Ezimuo (Née Ajaeme)
