Thel you are and will always be my best friend. I am going to miss our phone calls, catching up on each others lives and what is happening in both our families. There were very few days we wouldn't speak, most family would know at 9am the phone would be engaged but not anymore. I will continue to think of you, it's hard to think that those days are gone, but I'm thankful for the close relationship we shared. We were closer than most sisters even if we didn't see each other often. You were the light in so many of our lives, I was convinced you would get a letter from the Queen for years, even though I knew this day would come it still doesn't feel real. I am thankful you are no longer in pain. I love you so much, that I will never be able to put it into words. I just hope you rest easy now. Love you, forever in my heart. Xx Shirley ❤

Thinking of you all at this sad time. You will always remember how it felt to laugh with her and be loved by her. We hope those memories will bring comfort in time xo With love Christine, Chris and Family

Auntie Thel, I can still smell the Avon powder you gave me, the warmth of your hugs and your kiss on my cheeks. Everytime I called you, I would get mixed up and accidentally call you nana. You would always say 'I do sound like your nana, don't I?' That you did. I will always remember you for the kindness you showed, your laugh and look of surprise when we showed up for your 90th birthday. Your ability to make the best cakes, with no recipe. I have tried to replicate so many times, but they have never been as good as the ones you made. It didn't matter what was happening, even when you were unwell you were always caring for those around you. I hope now you can be our angel, looking over us. You will forever be in our memories, never forgotten. Love you forever Auntie Thel ❤ xx
