Susan was a wonderful person. We lost touch after she left the AOC but spoke a few times during the writing of her book a few years ago. The world has lost a treasure. I am so sad she is gone. Heartbroken.

Dear Susan's Family, I am so grateful for Susan's life, her vision, and her beautiful spirit. Susan was an unforgettable person who was always kind, and always optimistic. It was a joy to know her. Her legacy lives on in her ideals, her work and the dedication she had to her students. What a wonderful example of a caring and warm teacher! May you allow God to comfort you as you move forward without her.
