I remember her treating some pear stealers with love and respect by approaching them with the offering of selling them as many as they wanted, at a fair price per pound. Amazing example to follow. I will never forget that. Picture is Seaside Beach July 18th, 2015.

Stacy was always the funniest aunt. She was so happy and chaotic but in the best way possible. I love how every experience with her was always an adventure. Like turning out the wrong on a busy street and jumping a cement island in the Yukon. I also remember driving to the ranch and there were melted fruit snacks that she was smushing in her fingers and pretending they were boogers. Tara was screaming for her to stop but Kayla and I could not stop laughing. She just always had fun and was never afraid of embarrassing herself which made her sunshine to be around.

I have So many good memories with Stacey. It’s hard to come up with just a few. From having a blast every year at the beach with all the kids to shopping at Pikes place market in Seattle, family dinner at her house, and crafting. She was alway such a joy to be around. I have always been so grateful that we had our kids so close together! I love and miss her! ❤️

I took this on one of Stacy's last trips to the beach. We went for a walk down at the cove. I used to get up early and go walk in front of the beach house every morning with Stacy. Kelly Reese should know this, but we used to go and walk the "silver lines" and look for the small sand dollars and other shells. Whenever I'm at the beach, I still get up around 7am and go walk the lines for shells.

These days I appreciate and can relate to all the stories stacy told of kids and the tiring and crazy things they do. From smashing butter and eggs into carpets to them making a scene in public. I think the best lesson to learn that she taught from those stories is one day those hard moments will be things to look back and laugh at. I also really like the story of Kelly flipping his mom off while he was walking up the hill with a lawn mower and he had no idea it was her behind him.

Stacy was a fun loving happy girl. She was always kind - except when fighting with her sister - even then she was never cruel. However she did write on the back of her dresser “I hate Shannon”. She was beautiful in every way. She was my “Sunshine” girl. I love her so much.
